fa «توصیف فربه» به‌مثابه یک روش کیفی " Thick Description" as a Qualitative Method تخصصي Special علمی ترویجی Promotional science <div style="text-align: justify;">استفاده دقیق از روش‌های تحقیق کیفی، یکی از مسائل تحقیقات ایرانی است. هدف مقاله حاضر کاربست «توصیف فربه» کلیفورد گیرتز و بخشیدن جنبه روش‌مند به آن است. این پژوهش با تکیه بر نظریهٔ تفسیری نمادگرایی گیرتز، شمایی روش‌مند به محققِ کیفی خواهد داد تا از روش توصیف فربه به‌طور درست استفاده نماید. در این پژوهش ابهام موجود در تعاریف و نگاه تئوریک این تکنیک زدوده شده و شمایی کلی از روش‌شناسی، در غالب بخش‌های «مشخص‌کردن میدان تحقیق»، «آشنایی با بومیان و غوطه‌وری فرهنگی»، «توصیف مختصر»، و در‌نهایت، «توصیف فربه» به محققان خواهد داد. این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که روش پژوهش کیفیِ «توصیف فربه»، نوعی نگارش محققانه است که فراتر از توصیف و مشاهده به‌پیش می‌رود و بیانگر زمینه، عرصه، زمان، جغرافیا، عوامل پیرامون عمق تاریخ و هر‌آن‌چیزی است که به‌صورت پیدا و پنهان منجر به ظهور رفتار خاص یا رویداد و اتفاق است. لذا در این روش پژوهش کیفی، مبنای تحلیل، توصیفی است که فراتر از سطح ظاهری و معاصر است.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">The precise use of qualitative research methods is one of the issues of Iranian research. The aim of this article is to apply Clifford Geertz's " thick description" and give it a methodological aspect. This research, relying on Geertz's interpretive theory of symbolism, will provide a methodological scheme to the qualitative researcher to use the fat description method correctly. In this research, the ambiguity in the definitions and theoretical view of this technique is removed and a general scheme of the methodology will be given to researchers in the main sections of "specifying the research field", "acquaintance with the natives and cultural immersion", "brief description", and finally, " thick description". This research shows that the qualitative research method of "fat description" is a type of scholarly writing that goes beyond description and observation and expresses the context, area, time, geography, factors surrounding the depth of history and everything that openly and secretly leads to the emergence of a specific behavior or event. Therefore, in this qualitative research method, the basis of analysis is a description that goes beyond the superficial and contemporary level.</div> کلیفورد گیرتز, توصیف فربه, تحقیق کیفی, نظریه تفسیری نمادگرایی.
