Abstract:
The complex and interdisciplinary nature of the Islamic civilization studies requires a structure of multifaceted and multidisciplinary methodology. Accordingly, the analysis and investigation of Islamic civilization employing the specialized approaches of a particular discipline of the human sciences have led to reductionism in the results obtained regarding the Islamic civilization. The main problem of this study was how to design a methodological model in order to systematize the field of Islamic civilization studies. Using the descriptive-analytical method and the conceptual modeling, this research discussed and examined the application of research methods as a hybrid and a multidisciplinary model in studies of Islamic civilization.
