Abstract
During the two recent centuries, the Islamic thinkers and reformists have tried much to release the Islamic civilization from feebleness and stagnation caused by the sovereignty of colonization and the dominant of the incompetent rulers and returned the honorable greatness to Islamic nation again. They believed that achieving to development and elevation is only under affection to Islamic culture and preventing from dominating foreigners. Knowing and introducing the factors of the dehiscence of Islamic civilization that is introduced as the most advanced civilization for years, is much important and necessary for exaltation of the new Islamic civilization. In this article, by descriptive- analytic method and based on librarian resources, the role of the political power and authority of Islamic rulers in dehiscence of the new Islamic civilization is examined and analyzed. The political power and authority of Islamic governments is one of the most important factors in dehiscence the new Islamic civilization that have criterions such as: religiosity, intellectuality, Imamate and leadership, :union: and coalition, knowledge and learning, honor and independence, financial and economic power and military power. Using these criterions plays important role in promotion political authority followed by dehiscence of the new Islamic civilization.
